It struck a chord with me as the earworm burrowed into my skull.
This Sunday morning, I woke up with a mild headache and nausea. And I had tried thinking some sickly spoof lyrics before.
I took advantage of the off moment, and crafted this mini-work before church. Hope it's worth a giggle.
If only I were any good at recording and mixing music.
Edit 6/25/2014: Added some backup chorus vocalization on the last stanza.

Having had no idea who Parry Gripp is (all I know similarly is that I appear to have lost my grip a long time ago), I had to follow your link, then open the lyric sheet over the sound.
Reference your artist's comments: yes, it was worth a giggle ... and a chuckle and a smile that I will probably carry through until lunch time. (The food in the employee cafeteria here at the Big Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip has been known to wipe all manner of smiles off of faces.)
